Date formats on SSRS

If you need to display date format on report as DD-MMM-YYYY(01-Jun-2017). This can be achieved by several ways among which here is one.

=Left(MonthName(fields!begin date. Value), 3)

SSRS REPORT DATA EXPLORER

Hi,

Report data Explorer is like solution Explorer which is available in visual studio. Report data have awesome stuff which is very basic to build reports which db queries linked. This will have few things

1.Built-in Fields

2.parameters

3.Images

4.Data Sources

5.Datasets

This can be accessed from main menu view – >Report Data. There are several scenarios where this option will not be seen hence there is a short cut key board commands helpful to access it.

Formatting SSRS Footer

Hi..

Today we explore the SSRS footer from the previous report as per the requirement. Requirement is to print not just page number on right bottom of report but also display total no. of pages, eg: Page 1 Of 2 to achieve it just double click the text box, cursor will appear the type Page then right click and add Create Placeholder and provide formula of PageNumber then type Of add placeholder then add formula of TotalPages and follow as shown:
